I have just learned that my information was involved in various data breaches over the past 10 years, and more recently my identity was stolen from my friends vehicle in XXXX, which has resulted in various inaccurate addresses and phone numbers being attached to my report. I have attached a copy of the police report in this regard. In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) this creditor has violated my rights under 15 USC 1681 section 602 states : I have the right to privacy. 15 USC 1681 section 604 a section 2 also states : a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instructions. Under 15 USCS 1666b : a creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card account under an open end consumer credit plan as late for any purpose. No information was mailed to me at all and specifically no information was mailed to me within 21 days. The reporting of these late payments are not only a violation of various federal protection laws but they also have severely abused and harmed my reputation and ability to obtain credit from various lenders which has caused me to injury in various ways. Please remove this account from all of my reports. I have written to all XXXX credit reporting agencies multiple times stating that I do not recognize how the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX account is reporting on my credit reports, I do not recognize the account number, the account status, the account high balance, nor do I recognize the late payments associated with it, everything reported here does not meet the FCRA. Please remove this account from all of my reports.
