I emailed the PA Dept of Education on XX/XX/XXXX with the following text : My loans were forgiven under the Limited PSLF program. My loans were consolidated XXXX years ago in order to partake in the program. I made over XXXX payments on my loans prior to PSLF waiver. I received notice that my loans qualified for forgiveness in XXXX. However I believe I am owed a refund because I paid over XXXX payments and I am owed a refund for the payments I continued to make over the past 15 years. XXXX told me I am NOT owed a refund because I didn't make any payments while they were reviewing my loan. This is not my understanding of how this loan refund works. " Any payments made over XXXX will be automatically refunded as long as those extra payments occurred after consolidation, '' said XXXX XXXX, XXXX of The XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, a nonprofit. Emailed again on XX/XX/XXXX with the following text : My loans were forgiven via XXXX. I am owed a refund for making over XXXX payments and I still have not received my refund. Also, I was part of the class action Sweet vs Cardona, and I was supposed to receive my money from those loans and I still haven't received those either! Not only did I not receive a response from them, they also closed my case with no resolution on answer for either inquiry.
