I bought a vanilla visa gift card from XXXX and loaded XXXX $ onto the card. This was going to be a XXXX gift for my foster sister. I went ahead and activated the card ahead of time just so there werent any issues in the future. The following day I noticed a bunch of failed transactions. Ones specifically for XXXX and XXXX ; which I didnt make. As I was in the process of attempting to contact vanilla I noticed a {$50.00} transaction to prizepicks. I have no clue how all of the fraudulent transactions happened but I tried to look for a solution anywhere. I attempted to contact the merchant but was told that there was nothing they could do. So I waited until I was able to file a dispute with Vanilla gift. On the vanilla gift account it says that I need to call a number and contact support but the vanilla gift card number is only automated. Im not able to talk to anyone about this fraudulent transaction which is completely ridiculous.
