On XX/XX/year> my account balance with Comenity Bank XXXX Express retail card ) showed online as {$97.00} of which I paid the full amount. I later received a {$2.00} charge from Comenity which I refuse to pay as the account balance had been paid in full. On XX/XX/XXXX I made a {$53.00} purchase which, in fairness, I forgot about. Comenity the charged me a {$2.00} late fee on the {$2.00} charge the added to my account after it was paid in full. Then when I forgot to pay the {$53.00}, Comenity charged a {$37.00} late fee. I have since paid the {$53.00} and have asked Comenity waive the false and absorbent fees they added to my account. All in all I've been charged {$45.00} in fees for {$53.00} in charges that were late once. To show their predatory behavior even more so, when I contacted this company to resolve the issue the indicated that all levels of leadership only have {$15.00} limit to which they can resolve client issues. When I asked to speak with the employee 's direct supervisor or manager I was transferred to another frontline representative. This happened 4 times. Banks charging " interest on a purchase '' when no purchase was made and the account balance paid to {$0.00} seems predatory. Banks charging late fees on fees they added to my account after the balance was paid to {$0.00} seems predatory. Banks limiting the employee 's ability to rectify issues causing customers to go to great lengths for resolution seems predatory. Banks refusing to allow consumers to speak with anyone other than a frontline customer service representative feels predatory. I need help. As a ln individual consumer I am stuck in a place where I can either allow this company to defraud me to protect my credit or I can ask for help. Please help.
