I am writing to formally report the improper use of my credit report by XXXX TransUnion, and XXXX. I believe my credit report was either accessed or used by these entities for purposes that are not permitted under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). Details of the Incident : Companies Involved : XXXX TransUnion, and XXXX accessed my report without permissible purpose, or if TransUnion and XXXX improperly shared my information The FCRA explicitly states that credit reports can only be accessed or used for permissible purposes, such as credit applications, employment screening ( with consent ), or other legitimate business reasons. Based on the information I have, these companies have violated these legal provisions. I have already contacted TransUnion, and XXXX XXXX regarding this issue. I have spoke with and wrote to the clerk of courts regarding the bankruptcy on my file and they let me know that they did not share information so how did the credit report or agencies get this information?
