I have deposited checks into my bank account and I was not credited the funds. And it caused me extreme hardship and suffering. The suffering I experienced was eviction and didnt eat for a week which is very painful and hard to handle, but navy federal is wrong. I requested the original checks to be returned to me which they didnt return rather instructed me to contact the company and request issuance of a new check. Navy federal also sent me whats called substitute checks back and only after close to a month did I receive them, however with those checks, I cant even cash them anywhere as I called several institutions that informed me that they dont accept them and even the check cashing places informed me of the same
