Hi there, My name is XXXX XXXX. I was the victim of fraud when I was a chime account holder about XXXX XXXX XXXX I worked tirelessly for nearly a year after my account was hacked to get my money back. I had just received my tax return in XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX and the next day all of the money was drained from my account and so began the fight to prove that I was a victim of fraud. After many months of talking to people with a big XXXX XXXX, I was only able to get back {$2000.00} of the over {$5000.00} that was stolen from my account. Numerous charges in XXXX, XXXX, places Ive never had the pleasure of going to, nor would I have been able to purchase anything there as I was working in the XXXX when this occurred and I dont even have a passport. My chime card was locked during some of these purchases as I was trying to resolve and secure my account from XXXX to about XXXX of that year. I was told so many different things about the fraud and even at XXXX point a representative advised me Id need to get a new social security number?! Thats absolutely insane and not sure how to even do that. My name iXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX. I am requesting a final resolution for this fraud, I deserve to be able to have my hard earned money refunded to me as I more than proved this was Fraud and spent so much of my time and energy trying to fix this. And to think it was all because I was trying to build my credit as a single mother who struggles daily, only to have what little money I had, stolen within hours of its deposit. Only to fight and prove that it was my money, my account. I would really appreciate some follow up and resolution on this issue. Life happens, and as a single mom my focus needs to be on providing for my child, and people deserve the security of knowing their funds are safe and secure. Chime is all over social media and television guaranteeing how easy and safe their accounts are, yet theyve not resolved fraudulent activity and its nearly impossible to speak with someone who can truly help with no barriers. XXXX grateful and proud of people who can sXXXX XXXX XXXX, dont get me wrong, but in a situation where you are required to prove your identity and write statements as to why you should be refunded Your own MONEY for purchases that were proven fraudulent, it is very difficult. And chime can not claim to be safe or secure when this happened and Ive yet to get all of my money back. I am attaching just some of the communication about this fraud and how elaborate it was.
