Kohl 's reported my account 60 days late. I am on the phone with the Kohl 's credit employee now. She states that I am not, and haven't been, 60 days late. She can not answer why it was reported 60 days late, or why I received a letter stating that my account is " delinquent ''. This rep did confirm payments made, but also said that my payments are {$45.00} shy of being " current '', and that this is causing a backlog of 40 days. I asked how I am {$45.00} shy if I pay the minimum payment through the app ; and I paid twice in XXXX. She confirmed that I do make payments through the app, according to what the shown minimum payment is, and that she can see XXXX payments recently in XXXX. She confirmed again that I am not 60 days late. This employee 's ID and name are below, as well as her department. XXXX - ID XXXX- Collections with Kohl 's Kohl 's will not answer why they incorrectly reported me as 60 days late. They will not tell me why I am considered {$45.00} shy of the payment to stay current, despite making the minimum payments shown in the app. XXXX transferred me to her team lead : XXXX - ID XXXX - Team Lead XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX ) XXXX stated that the payment due XX/XX/XXXX was received on XX/XX/XXXX. She stated that my payment was not received in XXXX, so Kohl 's reported it 30 days late. This is not legal. XXXX confirmed that she would open a Credit Bureau Reset, wherein Kohl 's can decide if the information that Kohl 's reported was inaccurate. I asked her what the appeals process was, in case Kohl 's decided that Kohl 's didn't have any errors. XXXX gave me an address for a " Credit Bureau Dispute ''. I asked if that was for a credit bureau, or if it was another Kohl 's department. She confirmed it was a Kohl 's department. To summarize my talk with XXXX, Kohl 's reported inaccurate information. Kohl 's will then get to review their own report. If Kohl 's doesn't think anything is inaccurate, I can appeal ... to Kohl 's. XXXX could not state which, if any, outside agency would be part of the appeal process against Kohl 's. To summarize the entirety : Kohl 's reported my account " delinquent ''. I have bank statements showing payment dates, confirming it was not delinquent. XXXX confirmed payments can be seen, and I am not delinquent. XXXX stated that I am {$45.00} shy of being made current, despite my paying what the app states for minimum payments.
