Several days ago I was attempting to change mobile carriers and the new company tried to check my credit report at Experian with no success. I advised that I kept all my credit reports frozen but went ahead using Experian 's chat bot to change my password and create a " thaw '' etc. Despite this the company continued to be unable to access my credit. When I got home I logged on to the Experian site and confirmed that the freeze had been lift and I in fact extended it for several more days. When I returned to the new carriers office they were still unable to access my credit report. I have tried repeatedly since then to speak with a human being at Experian and it appears totally impossible. Furthermore their AI chat bots appear to have no AI and are the most useless, frustrating things I have ever dealt with. I would like to know how these people even stay in business.
