I just reviewed my Transunion credit report and found that it is inaccurately reporting the following accounts as being late XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX These late payments are damaging my credit, and I demand that these late payments be removed from my credit report immediately. This violates my consumer rights according to the FCRA. The FCRA law 15 U.S. Code 1681a ( 2 ) ( i ) - Exclusions : States that Transactions ( late payments ) are not to be reported on credit reports. Another violation is 15 U.S.C. 1666 ( b ) ( 4 ) Billing errors : States that a creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card account under an open-end consumer credit plan as late for any purpose. Therefore, these accounts are not reporting with 100 % accuracy and must be deleted immediately. Please Delete these late payments and update my Payment History to PAANL status immediately. Also, mail me a corrected copy of my credit report as soon as possible. This is notification that I will seek civil liability as per 15 U.S.C. 1692k for every violation of my consumer rights.
