At this point in time, I am just looking for where the funds are. In the beginning of XX/XX/year> my Sofi bank account was closed for unknown activity on my account for a withdraw in a different state. That was fine, but they had not sent a check for the funds and instead sent me to a investigative unit to look into my funds. After a week they denied my a check for no reason and said that the money had returned back to the originator which is the IRS. What I did in response was call the IRS for a look into the funds and the bank. The IRS has given me a referral notice and is looking to the matter as of XX/XX/XXXX.
