Since my last complaint to the CFPB I had spoken to the fraud department at Capital One 360. Once on XXXX I was on hold for well over an hour and she kept telling me she was going to get to the bottom of my account being restricted and not being able to use my debit card or withdraw funds from my account. She then got back on the phone and said there was a mistake on Capital Ones part, and she lifted the restriction and promised me that it would never happen again. She then said I need to get you over to the customer service center and have them reissue you a new debit card. Once I was transferred to the customer service department the agent said I will reissue you a new debit card with expedited shipping and you should get it in three days. Once I woke up the next day and called Capital One 360 again to inquire about when I would be receiving my new debit card, they advised me that the restriction was back on my account, and I wouldn't be receiving a new debit card to access the funds in my checking account. Then I called the fraud department once again and kept getting the same excuse that the restriction wouldn't be lifted. Then I made one more attempt and called the fraud department. This woman representative told me to hang on for a while and she was going to get to the bottom of the situation. She then said Capital One 360 had everything all disorganized and notes about my account all messed up that it was pathetic. She then lifted the restriction once again and she told me the same thing. That this would never happen again. Also, she stated that I should be receiving a new debit card in the mail. Now once again I woke up the next day on XX/XX/year> and looked at my checking account and the restriction was put back on my account. I have direct deposits that go into that account which holds me exempt. This company needs to be stopped. I have read hundreds of online articles that distinctly say to stay away from Capital One 360 checking accounts at all costs because they are ripping people off constantly and keeping money that doesn't belong to them to take. They are keeping my money from me to pay all my bills with, and this could cost me to starve to death and lose my home for my son and myself. If I had known about their deceptive and illegal ways, I would have never banked with them in the first place
