Consumer Narrative
I revoke authorization from Lend a dollar automatically withdrawing payments from my checking account and debit card per my signed loan agreement. The company is still processing automatic electronic checks. The company stated I am unable to revoke authorization from them processing electronic checks. I would have to do so through my bank. The company processed a check on XX/XX/year> and it returned due to insufficient funds. The payment was processed on the incorrect pay date. I am paid on the XXXX and the XXXX of each month. This payment caused me a {$29.00} return fee. On XX/XX/year> the company ran a payment using my debit card in which they insured me they had stopped because they received my revoke authorization. The payment on XX/XX/year> was unauthorized. When I called to inquire about the unauthorized payment being processed management informed me that I am unable to make scheduled installment payments on my own. My only option was for them to automatically withdraw my payments. This isn't right and I should be able to make my payments on my own on the due dates of my installment.
