I have been having problems using an American Express Gift card received three years ago. I have tried using is to purchase items online with no success. My most recent attempts have cost me {$.00} off of the card 's {$50.00} total. Some online research has shown this is a common problem with the American Express Gift cards, and that American Express is unresponsive when trying to resolve the problem. I had tried to utilize the card several times before any transactions show in the history. However, because the card would not fully cover the purchases, and the entering of two different forms of payment was not allowed, the attempt never went through. XX/XX/24 ( Two Attempts ), {$50.00}, declined both times XX/XX/24 ( Two Attempts ), {$50.00}, shows two pending charges for {$.00} each, which will not allow me to purchase a {$50.00} item
