On XX/XX/XXXX I did not get any confirmation after paying on TD bank that my mortgage payment had gone through, and I attempted to make two additional payments. On the third payment, I finally got a payment confirmation. The next day I saw that TD charged me three times for a total of {$15000.00}. I called TD bank and they confirmed that they would send me a check for {$10000.00} and it would arrive in XXXX business days. On XX/XX/XXXX I called to inquire on the status of the check, and they stated that they had accidentally sent it to the wrong address, which is confusing as my current address is the only address they have for me. They agreed to stop pay the check and to overnight me a new check. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called again to inquire, and they stated the stop pay had gone through, and that they would overnight a check on XX/XX/XXXX to arrive on XX/XX/XXXX and confirmed that they had a recorded conversation verifying this and that they promised to call me on XX/XX/XXXX to let me know whats happening. I did not get that call. Today is XX/XX/XXXX and I called again and they stated that I would have to fill out an affidavit of loss to make the stop pay go through at which point they are then able to stop pay the check and then they will send the check to the correct address. They stated I would have to go to a TD bank to fill out this affidavit or return one in the mail. They have lied several times, refused to follow up on promises, and i am no XXXX days without $ XXXX when I have a baby due to arrive in two months.
