On XX/XX/XXXX I purchased a board game and all of its expansion packs for {$410.00} total. After XXXX and a half weeks of no response from the company, I emailed them about my order, as well as submitted a ticket to their website. After not hearing anything from the company at all aside from automated bot messages, I opened a fraud case with my bank Huntington National Bank. I received temporary credit and was told they would look into it. I asked if I would need to do anything further, as I was going out of town, and was told they would look into it. I came back from my trip to multiple pieces of mail from Huntington, the finally one stating the case was closed due to lack of evidence. I called to ask them to reopen it, and was strung around on the phone until someone told me they would put a note in my account to open it. I waited ~2 weeks after that, and when I heard nothing, I went into a branch. I was told to fill out a form and left it at the branch so they could send it in to the appropriate department. After filling out these forms, I received another piece of mail asking me to fill out the same forms I had already filled out at the branch. Just to be thorough, I filled out the form again and sent every piece of evidence I had in proving I never received my expensive online purchase. Not to mention the company I bought it from has since been outed in the board game community as scammers who are ghosting people and not answering requests for refunds on goods they never delivered. I received another letter in the mail saying they never received any evidence AT ALL from me, and the manager at the branch told me to wait and see if they had just missed my email and multiple letters sent in. Today, XX/XX/XXXX, they told me they are closing the case due to a delay in replying to them, which is an embarrassing cop out since anyone can take 2 minutes online to see the board game company is not filling their website orders.
