I was in the process of purchasing real estate, three business days before closing I received email correspondence from someone posing as my real estate attorney requesting closing costs to be wired to a PNC bank account. I initiated the wire transfer of {$89000.00} on XX/XX/year>. Two days later I was informed that the account did not belong to my attorney and it was wire fraud. I reached out to my financial institution to initiate a wire recall and they have been trying to contact PNC since XX/XX/year> with no response. There have been over 10 attempts by my financial institution to contact PNC regarding the wire recall and no communication from them has been received. A local police report as well as an FBI IC3 complaint have been filed for this issue.
