I needed a little bit of money to help cover rent. Uprova was offering me {$1200.00} loan receiving the money right away. I was on the phone with them while signing for the loan and they were explaining the contract but did not explain that interest was 540 % or that I would be paying {$240.00} for every two weeks for 18 payments. I would never sign a loan knowing that information. I am in a financial hardship due to school and living on my own and struggling to make payments. I tried to ask them if I could pay less each month, or change the days that the loan hits because I was going negative every time it hit. They said if I wanted to change days ( still twice a month ) the payment would go from {$240.00} to {$270.00}. I didn't understand how that made any sense and they wouldn't explain it to me. So right now I am paying {$240.00} every two weeks. I have made 6 payments already which is {$1400.00} and I still have 12 payments of that {$240.00} left before I finish and that feels illegal to me.
