I have applied for credit in the past and been declined because my Experian credit report is frozen. I have downloaded their app and unfrozen my report only to be told that my credit report is still frozen!? I am trying to apply for credit again and told my report is still frozen, even though I unfrozen it on the app. I have tried calling Experian several times, however their computerized phone system, no matter what I say, tells me it is not authorized to allow me to speak with a representative??!! Experian offers no chat function or other way to communicate with them. How can a company this vital to our financial system be allowed to offer NO customer service!!? Experian 's lack of customer support is costing me the ability to apply for credit!!!! This has already cost me hours of my time! Completely Unacceptable!
