THIS IS A NEW and UNIQUE CFPB complaint, not a duplicate. DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY CLOSE THIS CFPB complaint. Approximately two weeks ago I sent the following communication to XXXX, XXXX, TransUnion, and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX account that my consumer right to opt out of sharing, as a federally protected consumer per 16 CFR 433.2 and 16 CFR 433.3, my nonpublic personal information with any nonaffiliated third parties, per 15 U.S. Code 1681b ( a ) ( 2 ) and 16 CFR 313.7 ( f ) and 15 USC 6801 thru 6809, which I hereby exercise and invoke this right. As a federally protected consumer, per 16 CFR 433.2 and 16 CFR 433.3, I now, and indefinitely, as well as retroactively, opt out of any and all authorization ( s ) I, the consumer, may have given TransUnion, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX XXXX XXXX written, unwritten, verbal, and non-verbal, per 15 U.S. Code 1681b ( a ) ( 2 ) and 16 CFR 313.7 ( f ) and 15 USC 6801 thru 6809.
