Santander Consumer USA inc . Date opened XX/XX/XXXX Original loan was for {$17000.00} I put a {$1000.00} down payment which would leave a remaining balance of {$16000.00} Plus my monthly payments were {$450.00} My monthly payments do not reflect a lowering balance after each payment. After the car was repossessed it was then resold. I was never provided the additional paperwork for these details of car sale. The car sale is not properly reflecting on the remaining balance. I have tried to reach out to the company and they do not send any documents legally required during any transaction regarding this vehicle. Santander Consumer USA Inc. ( Santander ) has been involved in multiple legal actions and settlements related to consumer laws, including : * Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) issued a consent order against Santander for violating the FCRA and Regulation V. The CFPB found that Santander provided inaccurate or incomplete information to consumer reporting agencies ( CRAs ) between XXXX and XXXX.
