To Whom It May Concern : Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) ( 15 U.S.C. 1692g ), I have the right to request validation of any alleged debt. I previously requested Midland Credit Management to validate the account in question. However, they have failed to provide sufficient documentation, such as proof of the original creditor, account details, or any agreement linking me to this debt. According to the FDCPA, if a debt can not be validated, it must not be reported or pursued for collection. Additionally, under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) ( 15 U.S.C. 1681i ), credit reporting agencies are legally required to delete unvalidated or inaccurate accounts from a consumers credit report. Reporting unvalidated information violates these federal laws and causes undue harm to my credit profile. Since Midland Credit Management has not validated this account, I am requesting its immediate deletion from my credit report in compliance with these laws.
