I had to leave the University XXXX XXXX because of stuff that I had going on at home back in Alabama and I got off track with school and football because I chose to be there for my family back home and that is where I am right now. I am in the process of transferring and I need to send my transcripts to XXXX XXXX University and I was told that college cant hold transcripts anymore even if you withdraw from the classes before the deadline and have a balance. I talked to people at the University XXXX XXXX about releasing my transcript and they have their own rules and telling me I have to pay my balance off and that is challenging for me because I dont have any support to get a loan or anything. I dont even have a car anymore and my family is in poverty. I am submitting this complaint to see if I can get some support to get a loan without a co-signer and paying it off when I graduate or have fight with XXXX and their rules and have them release my transcript now and I set up a payment plan with them later on. I am close to graduating and will be the first in my family to do so because I am a first generation college student.
