Back in XXXX, I contacted 2 different companies, Delenquent Recovery & Credit Bureau of the South, who were reporting the exact same debt on my credit report in the amount of {$720.00}. On XX/XX/XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX they responded by stating " We verified that this item belongs to you '' without providing any of the requested proof. I advised I had no recollection of the reported debt and needed proof to validate the information being reported. Here we are in XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX and I have received nothing ; however, these two collection agencies are still reporting this debt on my credit. According to the laws, collection agencies are allotted 30 days to provide proof of validity. We have far exceeded that time. Not only did they not send the info requested, they are reporting this debt as an open account under 2 separate collection agencies. Additionally, collections should never be reported as open. I want these collections removed from my credit report asap.
