Consumer Narrative

I sent CCS aka Credit Collection Services aka Credit Control Services , inc. aka CCS XXXX XXXX located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, MA XXXX a letter on XX/XX/year> through U.S.P.S certified mail that requested In accordance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) as stated under 15 U.S.C. 1692g that proof be provided to me regarding accounts in debt. They have failed to respond and provide proper validation and requested information regarding an account that they have inaccurately put on my consumer report for {$150.00}. Some how the {$150.00} debt was removed from my XXXX credit report but has not been removed off my XXXX and XXXX. I have also asked them for proof for another account showing a debt for {$100.00} that they have again failed to provide requested information for. These accounts need to be taken off my credit for the lack of providing any proof of their claim that I have a debt with them. This debt collector is also NOT Licensed in the state of Illinois to collect debt. The Collection Agency has not provided validation information under 12 CFR 1006.34 ( b ) ( 5 ) but yet they placed a collection on my consumer report. The Collection agency is violating my consumer rights by using false misleading, misrepresentation and deceptive means. This account is not verified ; the Collection agency has no authority to furnish any account to a consumer reporting agency without providing any and all disclosures required by law and they are in clear violation of 12 CFR 1006.34 ( d ) and 15 USC 1681-S2 ( 7 ) ( A ). In accordance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) as stipulated under 15 U.S.C. 1692g, requested that i be provided with the following information : Proof of the debt : Please provide me with a copy of the original signed contract or agreement that establishes my responsibility for this debt. Assignment of Contract : Please provide a copy of the assignment of contract, showing that the current collector has been legally assigned or purchased the right to collect this debt from the original creditor. Until I receive verification and validation, please cease all collection activities, including reporting this debt to any credit reporting agencies. According to 15 U.S.C. 1692g ( b ), I am entitled to dispute the validity of the debt, and I request that the information about this debt be removed from my credit report.
