A mortgage assistance request was started in XXXX of XXXX and after the first XXXX trial payments were made ( XXXX, XXXX, XXXX ), in the amount of {$870.00} a month, the agreement would start. XXXX 's payment was late and the payment was not accepted when trying to make it up in XXXX. When I contacted the mortgage company in XXXX, the representative informed me that I had to go through the application process again. In XXXX of XXXX, when I opened a forbearance request, through XXXX of XXXX, I submitted the documents requested by the mortgage companies online website. I remained diligent to viewing my online status which showed " pending ''. In late XXXX, when I didn't see a resolution, I reapplied for mortgage assistance. In late XXXX as I continued to view the online status, there was a correspondence that said supporting paperwork was missing and the timeline had been exceeded, the status still showed pending. During this time notices were sent from the law group stating that any pending action i.e. foreclosure sales were postponed. This continued with me viewing my online status and no communication until the end of XXXX when I reapplied for mortgage assistance. My online status continued to show pending. Then on XXXX seventh, my wife received a visit from a man who said he had just bought our home the day before. My wife was visibly upset and in shock. We received no registered mail or sheriff notice prior to the sale. We then contacted the mortgage company who only confirmed that the house was sold. We have viewed similar complaints online with our mortgage company and other clients in very similar situations.
