On XX/XX/year> I made a full payment for the past due amount on my credit card with XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ). The payment did not reflect on my account until XX/XX/year>. I am out of the country and wanted to use funds for travel expenses. Upon attempting to use my card the payment was declined. I called my milestone customer service to inquire as to the issue. They then told me my account was closed on XX/XX/year> because they had sent identity verification forms via mail that I didnt return. This is concerning because I have all my preferences set to paperless. Ive read online numerous complaints about other individuals having the same issue. They close the account because they say they sent identification verification forms. No one online said they received the funds as well. So now they are refusing to refund me my payment I made. I called my bank XXXX yesterday XX/XX/year> and they made me go through a prolonged process of filing a claim. I am still out of country and need the funds for use. XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) is refusing to refund the money and my bank XXXX has yet to refund me as well.
