On XX/XX/year> I attempted to make a payment on my auto lease to XXXX XXXX who is my lender directly on their website using my bank information. I submitted my payment and received a message on the website that the payment would be processed in business days. The payment was not processed so I then called XXXX XXXX directly on XX/XX/XXXX to make a payment using my debit card. I was told a 30 day late remark would be added to my credit report, Mind you it was not my fault they did not process my payment submitted on XX/XX/XXXX. My payments are scheduled to be made every XXXX so on the XXXX I was still on 28 days past my due date and not yet 30 days late. I tried to fix the issue speaking to a representative but was told there is nothing they can do and they can not fix it. I tried speaking to a manager but they told me i don't need to. Id like to have the right thing done and have the late remark reversed due to it being unethical and a violation of my rights in accordance with the fair credit reporting act.
