Midland Credit Management has been contacting me repeatedly or several years concerning a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX account number XXXX with a balance of {$410.00}. I have on two previous occasions disputed this debt on my credit report. The result of that dispute was that the credit reporting agencies took their word for it it's valid. I wanted them to show proof that the debt is still valid. Because I have not had a credit card in over 10 years. I know that this account is way past the legal limit for it to be on my credit report or for a debt collector to be harassing me for it. They need to either show me proof that I owned this account within the last 10 years that I had actual activity on this account with XXXX XXXX during that time or they need to remove it from my credit report and leave me alone.
