I am writing to formally dispute inaccurate information that is currently being reported on my credit report. XXXX is incorrectly reporting the following details about my alleged account with : Current Closed balance : {$820.00} Original balance : {$6500.00} Last payment : {$0.00} Account status : Voluntarily surrendered, XX/XX/XXXX Settlement offer does not match credit report balance due. These details are inaccurate and misleading for the following reasons and must be DELETED IMMEDIATELY. The account shows as " voluntarily surrendered '' in XX/XX/XXXX, which misrepresents the situation. The total purchase amount changed to {$6500.00}, which is why I wanted the merchandise return. Again, this furniture, was surrendered in XX/XX/XXXX, NOT XX/XX/XXXX. The creditor is offering a settlement amount of {$1300.00} and if I pay this, I would have full ownership of the merchandise. If I voluntarily surrendered the merchandise in XXXX of XXXX, how can I have full ownership. I have been harassed by the creditor for 3 years by emails and text messages requesting a payment. Obviously, someone dropped the ball at their end. I was authorized to surrender these items by XXXX XXXX, from the resolutions dept. None of these amounts reflect what the credit agency is reporting on my XXXX credit report. Obviously, someone at your end has dropped the ball. This is clearly a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), section 611. Correct this error by deleting this account. I was approved for {$2.00} and not {$6500.00}, which is why I stopped payment on all attempted transactions. ( See attached docs. ). I complained about this various times. My name not XXXX XXXX XXXX.
