They call all day everyday Ive considered changing my phone number. I did not give them any of my information and it was obtained illegally. According to 15 U.S.C. 1692c ( c ), if a consumer notifies a debt collector in writing that they refuse to pay a debt or wish the debt collector to cease further communication, the debt collector must stop contacting them regarding that debt.
