I submitted a dispute with Equifax on a collection account ( XXXX XXXX XXXX. ) with the incorrect balance and a status of open, the dispute was, the balance was originally {$840.00} and now its being reported as {$840.00} which is inaccurate, the account is closed And it is on my report as being open, this is also inaccurate, I have the right to fair and accurate credit reporting, the response I got back from Equifax was that it updated my information, but they did not change anything, I asked for this collection account to be deleted from my credit report due to inaccurate information.
