XXXX : acct XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I submitted a CFPB complaint and Equifax was contacted. Equifax opened a dispute, and these accounts were supposed to be investigated. I received a letter from Equifax Financial Services stating that a file under my SSN could not be located. However, I can view my credit report under Equifax. I do have an Equifax account. I do have an Equifax credit file. I believe this was a stall tactic, and a dispute investigation was not conducted. Now, according to the Equifax website, the dispute was closed on XX/XX/year>. I have not received an updated letter or the dispute results by mail. However, according to the Annual Credit Report website under my Equifax report, nothing has been updated and the accounts are not shown as " disputed ''. This is a violation of the FCRA. Failing to list the account as disputed, after a valid dispute has been sent to the credit reporting agency, is a violation of the FCRA.
