On XXXX XXXX I signed up for a Torrid Credit Card to receive a 40 % discount on my purchase. I never received the discount. I never received the card. I have never received an account number. I reached out to Comenity Bank at the beginning of XXXX to find out what was going on. Their system pulled an address I havent lived at in 2 years. At that time I offered to pay the full balance off but needed an account number for my records. They were unable to provide me an account number to an account in my name but still expected me to provide my personal bank account number to an outsourced employee. I requested them to cancel the card I never received and to please provide me the card and a statement to the proper address. I have never received a card for this account. I have not received the account number for this account. The first statement finally comes in XXXX but doesnt have an account number on it. I reached out to the bank multiple times between XXXX and XXXX. I have asked multiple times for the organization to fix their errors and reverse fees on top of interest and more fees. I made a good faith payment of my original purchase amount with out ever receiving an account number for my records. I have asked multiple times for them to reverse the interest and fees charged due to their organizations in ability to provide me an account number or card. I have also requested to have this account closed through multiple employees. My last phone call on XXXX XXXX I was told my account was never processed correctly. The representative explained the previous two representatives handled my account incorrectly resulting in the errors. He explained the system will not remove fees for an entire billing cycle. At this time all fees and interest being charged on the account are a result of employee error and system error. The organization is refusing to close the account taking an entire billing cycle that will continue to accrue interest to supposedly fix their errors issue. I only signed up for this account to receive a discount I never received. The organization acted in bad faith and closed my XXXX XXXX account held with the same institution. They still have not closed the Torrid account.
