I previously reported a closed XXXX Bank Account # XXXX and demanded that it be removed from TransUnion XXXX. TransUnion responded that the information is not currently on my TransUnion credit report. This is a bold lie as they continue to report the closed XXXX Bank Account until this day! In accordance with the fair credit reporting act, convergent account number XXXX, has violated my rights. 15 USC 1681 section 602A states I have the right to privacy. 15 USC 1681 section 604A section 2 it also states, a consumer reporting agency can not furnish a account without my written instructions 15 USC 1666B a creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card account under an open end consumer credit plan as late for any purpose. It is also my understanding that per 15 U.S. Code 1681b ( e ) ( 6 ) - Permissible purposes of consumer reports, all consumer reporting agencies are required to establish and maintain a notification system for purposes of paragraph ( 5 ) jointly with other such consumer reporting agencies. XXXX has removed this reporting! TransUnion needs to follow suit! I demand that this fraudulent closed account be deleted from TransUnion reporting immediately.
