I have spent an inordinate amount of time trying to get my payment records straight with Fifth Third. Although I pay a month ahead and additional principal on multiple occasions I am charged late fees. I attempted to get it corrected and am promised that it will be, but it requires continuous follow up and still is not corrected on this last go around. When I request detailed payment information they have sent a form that is unbelievably complicated. When I went to the branch to get an explanation the branch manager could not even follow the printout. I have had several mortgages and have never had the trouble and obscuration that I encounter with this bank.
