Consumer Narrative

Recently I went over my Equifax consumer report and discovered that there is multiple collections accounts and inaccurate information reporting that's negatively impacting my credit score. There are collections agencies that are reporting debt to the credit reporting agencies but had no prior consent or authorization to obtain nor share my personal information. I am aware that I have a right of privacy in accordance of 15 U.S. Code 6801 - Protection of nonpublic personal information, in which sharing my personal information they. violated 15 U.S. Code 6802 - Obligations with respect to disclosures of personal information. I have no knowledge of the creditors that obtained my personal information nor did I give them consent to report any debt. The debt that they're seeking I refuse to pay. After reaching out to the creditors asking them to verify any alleged debt, they failed to provide any contracts or agreements between us. I asked Equifax to report accurate and verifiable information only. Equifax is reporting this account to my consumer report without having any proper verification documents. Violations committed by both Equifax and the Creditors reporting the alleged debt : 15 U.S. Code 6801 - Protection of nonpublic personal information, 15 U.S. Code 6802 - Obligations with respect to disclosures of personal information, 15 U.S. Code 1681i - Procedure in case of disputed accuracy, 15 U.S. Code 1681i - Procedure in case of disputed accuracy, 15 U.S. Code 1681 - Congressional findings and statement of purpose
