I applied for a loan through UPSTART ( XXXX ) and was denied because the company could not verify my U.S. Citizenship. I am a U.S. Citizen and XXXX combat veteran working for the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX. The company stated my loan was denied due to a policy stating since I was not military but worked overseas, I could not qualify for a loan until I returned which is more than 30 days, I am a victim of discrimination on a loan and will seek legal actions based on discrimination. I have already sent the company a copy of my U.S. Passport, my U.S. Driver 's License, my Veterans ID card, my mortgage statement which all state I am a U.S. Citizen and still was denied based on the fact I am working overseas and not a current U.S. military member.
