Had a XXXX in XXXX of XXXX. My next medical follow up with just my XXXX XXXX was in XXXX of XXXX. I logged onto Christus Health Website to pay my copay for that upcoming visit. That is when I noticed they had put an outstanding debt from the XXXX on my account for over $ XXXX. They claim I signed some from that I would pay out of pocket for the XXXX. Nobody disclosed anything about my paying out of pocket just in case Christus couldn't do their job, I signed a lot of forms in preparation for the XXXX. Christus filed the XXXX incorrectly with XXXX and now want me to pay because they didn't complete their medical billing properly. All other items that were related to the XXXX were covered and my insurance does cover this XXXX. The reason XXXX did not cover was due to whatever billing error from Christus. XXXX has stated that I am not responsible due to the billing error. However, now Christus is trying to put this in Collections and damage my credit score and reputation.
