In XXXX of 2024, I noticed an alert on my credit report of a collection account. The account creditor is : MONTEREY COLLECTION SVCS XXXX info Phone number ( XXXX ) XXXX Address XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX, CA XXXX I have reached out to this company for information on this account and no one ever returns my calls. I called the original creditor that this account was referred to this creditor and they just referred back to the collection agency : Monterey Collection Svc. Historical info Original creditor XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX I feel under the protection of FDCPA, these rules do not apply to this company. They place an item on your credit report and does nothing to validate their claim. 9 months later, nothing has happened. I hope to get some resolution on this matter because this is not right for anyone to go through.
