For the past ten years, I have been working to resolve credit reporting issues with Wells Fargo that have caused my credit score to plummet from XXXX to XXXX, impacting my purchasing power. Additionally, their misrepresentation and predatory practices in mortgage loan documents have led to over {$200000.00} in prepayment penalties. In XXXX of 2024 I sent an inquiry to Wells Fargo regarding the accuracy of information on my credit report for account number XXXX which I didnt have, and has been on my credit report for ten years. In response to my inquiry, Wells Fargo sent a credit dispute letter with ID # XXXX, indicating they were unable to locate the account and needed further information. I made a follow-up call to Wells Fargo 's credit card debt collection department and provided my Social Security number and birthdate to assist in locating the account on my credit report. The Wells Fargo agent was unable to locate the account linked to my credit report. He recommended that I contact the three credit bureaus to request its removal. I subsequently sent a letter to the credit reporting agencies asking them to remove WSBNA from my report. The three companies responded, indicating they could not remove the account, and that only Wells Fargo has the power to do so. Wells Fargo is too large to be held accountable. Their fraudulent and predatory practices harm individuals and damage livelihoods. This situation has certainly had a negative impact on my life, and all I can do is learn to live with it.
