I paid my car off in XXXX or XXXX of XXXX. The company then sent me a certificate of title in the state of Florida. I thought it was fine as this was my first car. I live in a different state and I took said document and went to present it to change my tag and etc. the lady told me it was sufficient as there is still a XXXX in the vehicle. Prior to making my last payment I confirmed by voice call that this would be my last payment and I have the date of that call in my other phone. And I soon received a title. But apparently it isnt enough for proof of ownership. I asked them to provide me the correct documentation by email as I need it immediately they did not provide such things
