Last question asked was information received involving request. The answer is yes and no. Wells Fargo denied a retail credit application. I currently already had credit with this XXXX XXXX XXXX. However, all furniture stores left XXXXXXXX XXXX Now XXXX XXXX finance through Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo denied my application and lists four reason why they did. Next, I contacted the credit reporting agency XXXX. XXXX informed me that a report would be filed for their records and to contact Wells Fargo concerning denial. I did. I attempted again today XX/XX/year>. I was told by XXXX. in the escalation department that they do not discuss denials only approved credit. Denial letter specifically states that a creditor can not deny credit based on income, race etc. The other thing is I do have good credit. I do not have too many accounts with balances as stated, nor do I have any delinquency. Wells Fargo 's denial of credit to me is outside of what your agency describes as Fair Credit Reporting Act. It profiles me and falsifies my credit as a whole.
