I rented an apartment in XXXX from XXXX - XXXX of this year. I paid for this with a credit card and including a deposit. I was supposed to get my deposit back, however, the rental company is saying there were XXXX XXXX in the unit and is refusing to give my deposit back. The same company is also causing issues with someone else I know and not returning their deposit. I think this is a scam and I was hoping Barclays would have my back. I have spent nearly {$200000.00} with them in the last year alone without even XXXX missed payment or any prior disputes. Barclays has been slow to respond to my dispute and I have inquired about dealing with my case XXXX by email to no avail. I have had to fax in documents, which I have done. I am just hoping to get this resolved soon and hoping that Barclays can help me stand against the rental company with shady business practices.
