I received a private loan before XXXX that was transferred to Navient and now is being transferred to XXXX. The original amount of the loan was XXXX XXXXXXXX and my interest accrued is twice the amount I originally owed. All Loans ( Navient ) XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I initially paid the loan payments after a year I believe but went back for my XXXX XXXX XXXX It was in deferment for a while because my degree took a long time. By the time my loan was ready for payment the amount had doubled. I challenged the amount but I did not understand the response and thought it usurious. I began paying it back at the previous company before I graduated in XXXX because I was told that I could not receive any further deferments. Now it is being transferred again and I believe I need a full audit or whatever need relief in this loan because I am now XXXX and the interest charges and payments will be challenging as I need to retire. I also believed that the original company overcharged me, but I did not possess the financial acumen to counter the dispute. The previous loan information is not on the site and my institution just reinstated offering the degree I received. Please help, I need relief. The amount that I am paying also keeps increasing. The original loan information is not available and this loan is more than 10 years old. I can not even remember who it was with. Thank you!
