I recently had XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. Prior to this date I spoke to Navient regarding my being out on XXXX until XX/XX/XXXX. I was told to wait until I had the XXXX and then call and to ask for financial hardship. I called back on XX/XX/XXXX after being XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and was basically told that there was nothing that they could do for me and that there is no such thing as a financial hardship forbearance. I explained to them that this will force me to go into default if I can't pay them due to limited income. I asked for a three-month consideration and upon my return to work I would be able to play catch up. Again, I was told they could not help me. Since that time NAVIENT will call me several times during the course of a day and on weekends asking me about my payment. I keep explaining the same thing to them but to no avail they keep calling. I am not expecting any miracles but if they noted my record then it should show up when they get ready to call. I am trying to recuperate from my XXXX, but this is now causing undo stress on me. I am not asking NAVIENT to bend the rules, but you mean to tell me that there is nothing they can do for me except to harass me on an everyday basis.
