Transunion is refusing to allow me access to my account. I have been trying for over a month to access my free account so I can dispute unauthorized inquiries I found on my credit report that I ran on XX/XX/XXXX, and freeze my credit due to possible identity theft. I have tried calling and emailing. I provided the requested forms of identification to prove my identity, as well as personal financial details that only I would know. Transunion requested this information over a non-secure email and then sent an email closing my case without resovling the issue! Transunion claims they cant verify my identity and have blocked my access to my account! Yeah, they cant verify my identity, yet they mailed me a letter on XX/XX/XXXX after I applied for a job. In the meantime, Transunion is more than happy to continue sending me emails to allow me to create a paid account and charge me $ XXXX! I wasted hours on the phone trying to reach someone only to be referred back to their website that wants me to share personal infomation over social media platforms like XXXX and XXXX XXXX! It is no wonder my data has been stolen! I want access to my account so I can freeze my credit!
