In XXXX I opened a dispute ( XXXX ) with Experian credit bureau to correct information in my file with XXXX XXXX. My file showed that the balance and status of the debt was unpaid and Account charged off. {$280.00} written off. I requested that they update to show the balance as {$0.00} balance and the payment status as Paid/Paid Charge off as of XXXX. My report currently only reflects the {$0.00} balance and to add insult to injury is now showing that this account is charged off in XXXX, which is incorrect. The debt was paid prior to XXXX. This debt was paid on XX/XX/XXXX. Before I submitted the dispute I sent a copy of the payment made in XXXX to Experian so that this wouldnt report as being charged off in XXXX. I would like my payment history for XX/XX/year> updated and the payment status updated to Paid since this account was in fact paid with Charged Off/Written Off removed since the credit grantor accepted payment on XX/XX/XXXX. The correct payment status should be showing based on the documentation that I have provided to Experian.
