This CFPB complaint is being filed pursuant to FCRA 605B ( 15 U.S.C. 1681c-2 ), requesting that Experian credit reporting agency block information appearing on my consumer credit report as it is the result of identity theft and fraud. I request this be done within 4 business days of receiving this complaint. The fraudulent and inaccurate information includes the following accounts : 1. A credit card account was opened with XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2022, under account number XXXX. 2. An account was opened at XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2022, under account number XXXX. These fraudulent accounts have led to multiple unauthorized hard inquiries and collections appearing on my consumer FICO credit report. I have attached a copy of my FICO credit report, which clearly shows the fraudulent items in question. I do not recognize any of these accounts, or collections, as being initiated by me. All of the aforementioned accounts, collections, and hard inquiries are a direct result of identity theft and fraud. In support of my claim, I have also attached a copy of the FTC Identity Theft Criminal Complaint ( Case Number : XXXX ) as proof from the U.S. Federal Trade Commission that these accounts, collections, and inquiries are indeed the result of identity theft and fraud.
