Due to the age of the property ( XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX ), several issues have risen since XXXX. In XXXX, an insurance claim was filed with XXXX for damage sewage piping causing major flooding in the crawl space of the house, affecting the master bedroom. Freedom Mortgage 's ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) XXXX XXXX Department XXXX XXXX XXXX '' XXXX the mortgage company, handles insurance claims documents and had this claim active in their database without ever closing it since XXXX. Repairs were completed and claim should've been closed. On XXXX of XXXX, another insurance claim was filed by the homeowner with XXXX for roof/water damage to 80 % of the house. Repair were completed in XXXX of XXXX. Checks were mailed to XXXX for processing and payout for the job completed by the XXXX ( XXXX XXXX Restorations, " XXXX XXXX '' ). However, XXXX failed to verify the XXXX claim was still active in their system since XXXX, never closing the old claim, and never updated their database with the new claim. This resulted in multiple unnecessary steps and actions that delayed the processing of checks, pertinent documents, and inspections for over 30 days ( and counting ) : XXXX. Checks missing endorsement were sent by XXXX to the previous XXXX from XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) because the claim was never closed, resulting in delaying the procurement of those checks by the home owner and the delivery of them to the current claim 's XXXX for endorsement by XXXX weeks. XXXX. Required inspection of the property were delayed due to XXXX not informing homeowner of homeowner 's responsibility to request said inspection of the property in the previous times ( XXXX ) during phone conversations, delaying the inspection process and the payout of subsequent funds upon completion of inspection. Currently, no checks have been processed ( XXXX Checks still pending payouts ).
